![]() These are always going to be the way you socialise with those links, so if you want to see, say, Tower, you can't just cross your fingers you'll run into them in town, you'll have to go and do the job where you work with them. In P4G, jobs are far more significant - not only is the pay actually decent (10k for the highest end ones), but they all give you stats, and a few give you S. You can make more money or stats from doing something else with that time. In P5, apart from kicking off the odd Mementos quest, jobs are pretty pointless. Equally, some are gated behind social stat levels. Links can't be done after certain dates due to story stuff. ![]() Like in P5, having the right persona on you also boosts points from this interaction. If you need a boost and no one is available, you can pray at the shrine (all the way to the right and at the back), just like the shrine in P5, and you'll get a boost at the expense of passing time and ¥200. Always have the same arcana on you as the link, just like P5. However, and again this is just my opinion, the stories within the party are better than in P5. I'd also add that in my humble opinion, there are fewer interesting stories outside the party (Devil is particularly egregious, though Devil in P5 is no great shakes). Links are useful for fusion XP and nothing more, so always prioritise the party + Hermit (your non-party in-dungeon SP refresher). If you're hoping for something like Temperance or Fortune and their awesome benefits, you'll be disappointed. Here are my spoiler free tips and tricks as I prepare to dive into NG+ (sorry for the wall of text, I got overexcited!). I literally finished P4G today, and came to it from P5. If your question or answer involves them please use the spoiler tag. This should go without saying, but please no spoilers. What about the best place for SP items? I definitely had other questions, but naturally as soon as I had time to make this thread I forgot most. I was wondering if there are any cards that are more useful to gain than others? I wasn't sure if maybe getting the chest key cards was pointless because maybe you had an opportunity to get them other ways later in the game, just throwing that out as an example.ĮDIT: Another thing I just thought about.where is the best place to buy healing items / stock up for any sort of useful items for dungeons? In P5 the clinic was the main place for healing items, anything like that in P4G? So far I've only found the one store in the shopping district that's run by the woman who resembles Lala Escargot lol. I'm hoping those who have experience playing both titles can share some helpful information here that may surprise those of us who come in with only knowing how P5 plays.įor example, the card system of gaining personas and other bonuses after battle is obviously a major difference from P5. More specifically, those who are coming to P4G after playing P5 as their first Persona game. Since I couldn't find anything like this here (point me in the right direction if I missed something), I think it would be really useful to get a tips and tricks thread going for new players. I only just beat the first dungeon, and already can tell I'm going to love the game. I, like many others here, just picked up a Vita in order to play P4G after playing and loving P5.
